Reviews and Ratings
My stay at the hotel was a mix of positives and negatives. The location was great, right at the entrance to the Salar de Uyuni, but I faced some challenges with noisy guests in nearby rooms. The service was friendly and helpful, but the dining experience fell short with overcooked dishes at a high price point.
The hotel offers spacious rooms with very good heating and a perfect view, but they are quite cold compared to even lower category hotels. The service is extremely friendly and helpful, although there are communication challenges with English. The location is excellent, facing the salar, but improvements could be made in providing currency exchange facilities. Overall, a cozy stay with some room for enhancements.
Staying at the hotel, right at the edge of Lake Uyuni, was a unique experience. The salt-built structure offers a cool ambiance, although the early morning light can be a bit too bright. The service was exceptional, provided by experienced and courteous bilingual staff members. Dining options were good but slightly overpriced, especially the $29 dinner service that didn't feel like a true buffet. Overall, a beautiful location with some room for improvement in certain aspects.
